I’m taking a class in school where we are designing houses on the computer using the CAD system. Since money isn’t an issue I built a house that was about 70,000 square feet and the cost to build it would be about 10.5 million dollars (that’s without anything in the house and not including the price of the land). I have so many rooms that I don’t know what to do with all of them. I have a bedroom that is bigger than most people’s houses and my newest room that I put up was a drive-thru McDonald’s.
What would you do if money wasn’t an issue? ( please comment with your answer to this question). In his book “Chazown” Craig Groeschel tells about how he asked many people that question and several times he was told that they weren’t sure what they would do. I think that if you don’t know what you would do then you don’t have a vision for your life. It really makes no sense to live your whole life without having an idea of what you want to do and how you’re going to do it.
There are other people that would answer that question with something like, “I would quit my job, move to Hawaii, get a nice house and golf for the rest of my life.” Sure this person has a vision but it is a selfish one. However, it is still better than the person that doesn’t know what they want because at least they plan ahead but it’s not that much better. It’s not wrong to have a nice house or some luxuries but it is wrong to have that much money keep it all to yourself. You should give money to your church or another charity that helps people out or give to both. If you don’t have a surplus of money you still should give. “If you do good with what you are given, you will be given even more. But those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken” (Matthew 25:29). So give no matter how much or how little you have and God will bless you with more. He may not give you more in money or possessions but he will bless you in some way.
If money wasn’t an issue what would you do? Would you put all you’re money into something to glorify yourself or would you put some of it into glorifying God? Everything that you own is his already, it’s not really yours. When you get money take some out first to give and then you can use the rest for other expenses. He gives us all the things we have. He blesses us with so much the least that we can do is give him the some back first.

If money wasn’t an issue (it is always an issue for me) I would I would first get “secure” and then buy a hybrid van to slowly travel in – primarily to natural and pristine places.
Then it would be fun to give money away. I would contact Oprah’s people and ask who is already helping battered women who could use money. Who is helping poor people become self sufficient? Who is supplying medical help to people who can’t afford it? That’s who I would give money to. And I would also give to the Nature Conservancy to protect natural areas.
I think I’d get my master’s degree, and then put my sisters through college. And then I’d move to Africa, and work as a nurse there, for free. And I’d sponser as many orphans there as I could.
What a neat question… I don’t think people ever really think about what they’d do if money wasn’t an issue. Thanks for asking, and giving us all something to think about.
Firstly I would make sure all my necessities were covered (bills, house, car, food, yadda, yadda) then I would probably put a bunch towards establishing my own publishing house and take the rest and distibute it to organizations for Alzheimer’s, Suicide Prevention and Awareness and Aids research.
And with whatever is left I would buy a book

If money wasn’t an issue, I would hire about 100 or more top research oncologists around the world to finally find the cure for cancer. I would establish a foundation and ensure they had everything they needed to find the answer! I hate this disease and a cure must be found.
if money was not an issue, i would provide for every single child in a war-torn of famine-torn or poverty-stricken country in the world in terms of food, clothing, health and education.
