Memphis No More

Memphis ruined my bracket! I had them going all the way to the National Championship but Missouri had to ruin that. I still have three other teams that are in my Final Four still in the tournament and my champion pick so I still may be alright without Memphis. I have UNC winning the tournament so I have to root for them to win tonight.NCAA Missouri Memphis Basketball

Fight ’til The End

North Carolina head coach Roy Williams, left, and players Wayne Ellington and Ty Lawson (5) celebrates on the sidelines during the second half of a first-round NCAA East Regional basketball game against Mount St. Mary's in Raleigh, N.C., Friday, March 21, 2008. North Carolina won 113-74. I was watching the UNC game against Mt. St. Mary’s and UNC demolished them beating them by 39 points. One thing that I like about Mt. St. Mary’s is that they never gave up even though they were down by a lot the whole game. It shows a lot of heart and pride to keep trying your hardest even though a win is very unlikely. Then CBS switched over to the Oregon, Mississippi State game and again Oregon tried their hardest all the way to the end. They were down by 9 with 5 seconds to go and they still were running their hardest and working their hardest even though a win was impossible. I really like to see that kind of work when a win is very unlikely if not impossible. It’s tough to get yourself to keep working when you’re down like that but these teams did it.

Now I’m going to go back to watching more tournaments games to hopefully see some more exciting games and I hope the teams that I picked win.
